I am not sure what I am doing here! I have recently been talking with a new friend I met in blogland about how we built our own log home. It occured to me that due to my husband's obsessive behavior about research and gathering information that someone else might benefit from all we have learned. I can honestly tell you that I can take NO credit for the fact that the house is square and sturdy. If I had been in charge - it would have been finished in 1/10th of the time and our motto would be: "there was a crooked man, who built a crooked house..." BUT luckily I was NOT in charge!
Seriously, I am not sure where we will start, but will figure it out and be posting soon!
